Bloomberg Law is an integrated, web-based research service that offers primary and secondary legal resources; corporate and financial data; business and transactional materials; and dockets previously available only through PACER. It includes Bloomberg BNA manuals, portfolios and reports; Bloomberg Businessweek; Bloomberg Brief newsletters; Bloomberg Law Practice Centers and news sources such Bloomberg News.
Bloomberg Law platform structures content into seven main research and practice areas: (1) U.S. Law or Global Law; (2) Practice Centers; (3) Litigation & Dockets; (4) Transactional Law; (5) Legislative & Regulatory; (6) Legal Analysis & News; and (7) Companies & Markets.
Bloomberg Law provides primary and secondary legal content; dockets, treatises, company and market information; news; and more.

Bloomberg Law is only available to law students and faculty. Law students may register for a Bloomberg Law account using their FIU email address, please follow the instructions below to register:
1. Navigate to Bloomberg Law online at: http://www.bna.com/bloomberglaw/lawschools/
2. Click on the Bloomberg Law homepage that reads Register for a Law School Account.
3. This will take you to the registration form, where you will provide your name, email address, and law school affiliation. For the question regarding your current role, please select the role that best describes your position at FIU Law.
4. Please read the terms and conditions of service and check the box to agree with terms and conditions of service, and enter the CAPTCHA word before submitting your registration request.
5. Don’t forget to use your official law school email address to register and be sure to check your email for the confirmation message.
6. It can take up to 24 hours for the registration to be processed, for Bloomberg Law to confirm an individual’s affiliation with FIU Law. Once your account is activated you will be able to login into Bloomberg Law.
The Law Library can assist law students with Bloomberg Law by offering individualized training based on immediate needs.
