Article 19
Promoting the rights recognized under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, this organization's Law and Policy page allows for keyword, category, and 'by region' searches for their projects. The group publishes a yearly "Global Expression Report".
Freedom House
Several FoE issues are covered by the organization, which is funded in part by U.S. public funds. Country reports for a large list of countries is available.
Global Freedom of Expression
This Free Speech project from Columbia University provides select case law, organized in a database format with various filters. The Law & Standards pages link to and pull relevant treaty provisions.

IFEX, the Global Network Defending and Promoting Free Expression
A umbrella body of 119 organizations listed in the members and Latin American (IFEX-ALC) links. The site also contains articles on personal and press freedoms.
Open Society Justice Initiatives
Two of the group's 'themes' deal with Freedom of Expression, 'Information and Digital Rights' and 'Journalism'. Navigate the site by theme, geographic region or publication.
Oversight Board of Appeals
"The purpose of the Facebook created board is to promote free expression by making principled, independent decisions regarding content on Facebook and Instagram and by issuing recommendations on the relevant Facebook company content policy." The Board posts some of its decisions.

Sociedad Interamericana de Prensa (SIP)
'Relevant documents' on the site include a 2016 Inter-American Commission Report on FoE and a 5 country comparative study.
Reporters Without Borders (RSF)
Has the World Press Freedom Index, and Barometer, recording data on journalists who are victims of extortions and killed.

OSCE, Office for Security and Co-operation in Europe
The OSCE monitors media developments in its 57 participating States for violations of free expression. Its Representative on Freedom of the Media works to monitor journalist's safety and media issues. Resources on various issues can be viewed at the site.
CSCE, Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe - U. S. Helsinki Commission
A U.S. government commission concerned with human rights and economic issues, including Freedom of the Media.
